THE JOURNEY

I was standing at the bank one day

Nearly ready to go on my way

When suddenly I hear a great big boom

And I am flying through the air with a zoom, zoom,

zoom.

I am sacred as I fly through the air

But finally I come to a stop on the back of a

giant hare!

The wind blows past me as we speed by

And suddenly I am thrown into the air up high.

When I wake up again and I am alert

I see what has happened, by host is hurt.

For some hunter's own pleasure and pride

This poor animal has been shot and left to die.

Because I am stranded I begin to walk

But then I am tired so I climb a nice looking stalk

When I lie down to go to sleep, again comes the book

And suddenly I am in a big and lively room.

But no, this no room

And suddenly to my eyes it begins to loom

that this room is a whole town

And I am a king, but I have no crown.

For I am bigger than everyone else

and I could eat all their food all by myself.

Just as they try to shoot me down

I hear the boom and I am spinning round and round.

But this time I am in no mystery place

For I am in my bed covered in lace

As I realise I can come to no more grief

I release a long sigh of release.

Than, I am calm.
