The night was dark and
stormy, the library lights were dim;
I crept up to the swinging
doors, and quietly went in.
"Is this the creative writing
club?" said I
"Yes," was Mr. Brohier's reply.
No grammar; analysis or essays;
No stodying word use or Shakespearian plays.
We aren't English scholars who use big words,
Teacher's pets, philosophers or nerds;
We just like to write poetry and prose;
Read at Madison's Cafe,
